COVID-19 Office Policies
All patients must call from the parking lot when they arrive to be checked in over the phone. We are not allowing anyone to spend time in our waiting room. When you call to check in the nursing staff will be informed of your arrival and you will get a call from the front desk when we are ready for you to enter the building. At that time the nurse will meet you at the office door to open the door for you and escort you to your designated room.
Currently we are only doing sick visits in the afternoon, though occasionally a tele-health appointment may be an option during the morning shift. Any patient who has a COVID-19 positive case in their household will be treated in the parking lot. We ask that you park around back at one of the orange traffic cones and call us to let us know you have arrived. All other sick visits will be treated in office.
We are still offering well checks at this time and strongly recommend that annual appointments be completed as scheduled. We have designated well rooms for well patients only and have taken several precautions to ensure the safety of our well patients. Tele-health well visits are NOT an option. If anyone in the family has had a cough/fever/COVID exposure 48 hours prior to the Well Check you must call to let us know ASAP so we can reschedule. In that event you will NOT be charged a cancellation fee.
Tele-health visits are not possible or effective for many of the chief complaints we receive. However, mental health consults, behavioral consults and routine med checks can often be completed over tele-health.
All parents and children over the age of 10 are required to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose. Patients under the age of 10 are not required to wear masks, but patients over the age of 2 are strongly recommended to wear masks if they will tolerate them.
