All babies have some reflux of milk.  It can vary from once in a while to every time that they eat.  As long as the baby is gaining weight well and it does not seem to consistently cause the baby pain, they will outgrow it within the first 12-18 months.

Babies cry for all different reasons.  Early on, excessive fussiness can be a sign of hunger.  If the baby is gaining weight well, then being overtired or overstimulated can be a common cause.  Here is a great resource for soothing a baby.
